    1. Intuitive method

    For powder pesticides, first look at the appearance.     2. Heating method

    is suitable for pharmaceutical pesticides. Take 5--10 grams of the pesticide and heat it on a piece of metal. If a large amount of white smoke is produced and there is a strong pungent smell, it means that the medicine is good; otherwise, it has expired.

    3. Floating method

    is suitable for wettable powder pesticides. First take a cup of 200 grams of clear water, and then weigh 1 gram of pesticides. Sprinkle it gently and evenly on the water and observe carefully. The pesticides that are wet and sink in the water within 1 minute are invalid pesticides, otherwise they are invalid pesticides.



    4. Suspension method

    is suitable for wettable powder pesticides. Take 30-50 grams of pesticide, put it in a glass container, add a small amount of water to make a paste, then add 150-200 grams, stir evenly with clean water, and let it stand for 10 minutes to observe. Good performance, fine separation of the suspension in the liquid medicine, low sedimentation speed and low sedimentation volume, the opposite of invalid pesticides.

    5. Oscillation method

    is suitable for emulsion pesticides. For pesticides with oil-water layer, vigorously shake the agent first, and observe after standing for 1 hour. If there is still delamination, it means that the agent and the deterioration are invalid.

    6. Hot melt method

    is suitable for emulsion pesticides. Put the pesticide with the sediment into the warm water (the water temperature should not be too high, 50℃~60℃ is suitable) and observe after 1 hour. If the sediment is dissolved, it can be used again; if the sediment is difficult to dissolve or insoluble.
